BOARD OF DIRECTORS/ACCOUNTABILITY

Focus On The World Ministries is governed by a volunteer Board Of Directors. There are five individuals who provide guidance to the ministry including an official representative of the Western Ontario District of the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada.

The ministry is under the direct supervision and oversight of The Western Ontario District of The Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada.

The Statement of Faith of Focus On The World Ministries is that of the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada and states as follows:

"We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, and God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. We believe in the Deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth and in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death, in His bodily resurrection from the dead, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father and in His personal future return to this earth in power and glory to rule over the nations.

We believe the Bible to be the inspired, and infallible, and authoritative Word of God. We believe that the only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in the precious, atoning blood of Christ. We believe that regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential for personal salvation. We believe that the redemptive work of Christ on the cross provides healing of the human body in answer to believing prayer.

We believe that the baptism of the Holy Spirit and the initial evidence of the said baptism being the speaking with other tongues according to Acts 2: 4, is given to believers who ask for it.We believer in the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a holy life as evidenced by the fruit of the Spirit.

We believe in the institution of diving ordinances including water baptism by immersion and the communion of the Lord's supper.

We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the unsaved, the one to everlasting life and the other to everlasting damnation".
