TESTIMONY FROM KENYA

I’d like to share this testimony that we received after our trip to Kenya in April 2010. “The church is doing well.  I am so grateful to God for you and Martha, you left a revival in our church that has brought a big difference.  We are now not striving [struggling] - the Lord has brought people and put a burden in their hearts to serve in various departments in church.  We started a class on Saturdays that we call Deeper Life classes [Angela’s seminars were called Deeper Life].

We saw the need to equip new believers to do the work of ministry and just continue the good work you started when you were around. Sunday School is doing very well, the material Sister Martha left for us have really assisted me. We now have an average of 25 kids attending our classes every Sunday.  We are blessed.”

On my  last trip to Kenya, Pastor Peter was rejoicing as he told us what happened to his family.  In 2002, I taught on  the subject of spiritual warfare. At  that  time,  the Holy Spirit showed him and his brother  that there  was  a  tree  on  the  family  compound  that  needed  to  be  removed.  It  was  a  tree  that  was  used traditionally for evil purposes. It was causing demonic oppression in their family. He and his brother had it cut down even though his father opposed.

They saw a change  in their  lives. His father was able to complete the building of a new home. Previously he was not able to finish it because of insufficient finances. Then Peter and two of his brothers were able to build new homes also. There was a financial breakthrough. The Lord broke the curse that was hindering them.  All glory to God for His great works!

“The following is a brief report of [Rev. Angela's] mission. During that period 4 people got saved and 20 people were healed of different diseases, 10 people were delivered of inherited cases. The way God used our  sister   to  turn upside down  the  lives of   the  ladies  in our  church  is something we had not witnessed before and we glorify God for her powerful ministry which is full of respect and love.

Rev Angela's ministry left the teens with a big smile after she had a beautiful time with them. About the orphans we have in the church, may God bless you big because you are the first person to be used by God to touch their lives. So may God bless you for the shoes, clothes etc you brought to them.”
